Prague Illustrated
Prague has gotten so popular that it's hard to move down Old Town's cobblestone main streets. So while it's worth checking out this hub's landmark attractions which include the medieval Astronomical Clock and the Gothic Church of Our Lady Before Týn on Old Town Square, you might want to plan to spend most of your time away from the main tourist attractions.
On the other hand, the handful of photos below should convince you that Prague is worth the trouble, regardless of how many swarms of visitors you have to brave.
Since the 1980s, people have filled the Lennon Wall, as it's called, with graffiti inspired by John Lennon, lyrics from Beatles' songs, and designs related to local and global causes.
Prague's National Theatre provides a total contrast to the Lennon Wall and illustrates the city's juxtaposition of old and new. So does the fact that puppet theater thrives here.
I'm not sure I ever need to see another puppet play, but I definitely need to see Prague again, regardless of how many other people agree with me.
